Viva Aztlan Festival Brings Mexican Culture to Lubbock

festival is a competition for Aztlan dance groups and also has a dance and
music exposition.

Director Zenaida Ojuero-Reyes said many people do not know how diverse

Stephen Richey enrolled his daughter in Aztlan dance classes to help her learn about her heritage.
"To give her some cultural background, something different than she would normally see. Her mom is Hispanic so it kind of gives her a sight back into her culture and her history."
