When emergency crews arrived on the scene the car was halfway into the front of the business.
According to one driver, he was heading north on Avenue Q when another car went to make a u-turn on Avenue Q in front of him. His car clipped that car, which then continued into the front of the House of Furniture.
"The curb that she kind of went over is pretty high, so no, normally we don't see anything like that, or the cub would stop somebody like that," said Michael Narvaiz, manager of House of Furniture.
"It could have been a lot worse, but at the same time, we're just glad that the lady wasn't really seriously hurt, that was our biggest concern, was somebody getting hurt," said Narvaiz.
We spoke to another woman who works across the street and said she heard the crash before she looked up and saw it. "It was really scary, I'm really scared working over here in this area, I've seen like two or three wrecks since I've been here, and it's petrifying," she said. "Right up on the road, and I'm scared someone's going to whack up on the building and knock me about here."
She also said she hopes this reminds people to stay alert while they drive, "People need to pay attention, it's not just you driving, you gotta pay attention to the other people driving."
No serious injuries were reported.
