On Wednesday, the FBI honored area law enforcement officers for their help in solving the baby kidnapping case in March of 2007. You'll remember, 21 year old Rayshaun Parson took baby Mychael Dawodu from a hospital room at Covenant Lakeside. FBI agents along with Lubbock police officers and sheriff's deputies all worked together to crack the case just 36 hours later.

On Wednesday, the FBI recognized dozens of local law enforcement officers for their hard work.

"We recognize that we're all doing the same job as law enforcement, it doesn't matter what level you're at, it's all important, and to get the job done properly, we need to do it together." says
agent Shannon Fish.
