Tech Basketball Defeats The Mountaineers With Last Second Lay-up

Texas Tech is competing in its 17th Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship. The Red Raiders are 13-16
all-time in the tournament and 8-7 in first round games. The Red Raiders are 1-3 all-time against West Virginia and 1-1 against West Virginia in thepostseason. Texas Tech faced the Mountaineers in the 2005 NCAA Tournament in Albuquerque, N.M., where WVU won, 65-60.Texas Tech has now won a first round game in the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championships for the first time since 2010. The Red Raiders are currently 11-19 on the season. It is the most wins since 2011.

The Red Raiders move on to play the Jayhawks Thursday @ 2pm.
