All season long Head Mens Basketball Coach Chris Walker had talked about making his team the best it can be by the end of the season, And as they entered the Big 12 Tournament on Wednesday night, they were playing about as well as they have all season long.

It served as another opportunity for Coach Walker to coach against the Legendary Bob Huggins.

In the 1st half, Ty nurse came out red hot for the Red Raiders, as he knocked down a three and Tech lead 12-4.

Later in the first, Dejan Kravic doesn't get the first shot but made sure on the 2nd shot, putting Tech up 28-16.

In the 2nd they were tied at 50, when Josh Gray drove the lane, but missed the shot only to have Jordan Tolbert clean it up behind him, putting Tech back up by two.

With under 6 minutes to play Jamal Williams found a wide open Tolbert underneath the basket, to put Tech back up three.

With 20 seconds to play tied at 69, Deniz Kilicli was at the free throw line, but missed the 2nd of two free throws and Chris Walker took a timeout.

They then played for the last shot. But Josh Gray's shot is swatted out to Jamal Williams, who fired off a three, that was no good but Dejan Kravic was there for the put back with .4 seconds left and Texas Tech takes it for their first Big 12 Tournament win since 2010, 71-69.
