Less than three months after a thrilling win over Minnesota in the Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas, the Texas Tech Football team will begin spring practices next week under new head coach Kliff Kingsbury.

Texas Tech will hold the first of 15 spring workouts on Friday, March 22, on the practice fields at the Football Training Facility.  Spring practice will conclude with the annual Spring Game at 1 p.m. on April 20, at Jones AT&T Stadium.  Admission to the game will be free.

All workouts will be closed to both the public and the media with the exception of two open practices set for Midland on April 6 and in Lubbock on April 12.  Details on the open practice date in Lubbock on April 12 will be released at a later date.

Season tickets for the 2013 season are available for purchase online at texastech.com or by calling the athletics ticket office at (806) 742-TECH.
