The exhibit couldn't have come at a more perfect time with the recent election of a new Pope.
The exhibit goes through his childhood and his rise through the church.
John Paul II is often remembered for his love of the people but Reverend Malcolm Keyland said he was also a very intellectual man.
"Extraordinary man of wisdom too. He spoke over 21 languages, 102 dialects, photographic memory. A very intelligent man but he devoted all of his life liking and loving people. So his charisma's, gifts that god had given him he used to touch the souls of many people."
The exhibit has many religious pieces on loan from the Vatican but Marc Antoniello said you don't have to be Catholic to enjoy the exhibit.
"I think if they have any interest at all not only in religious history but world history they will learn a lot by being here and they will be able to find out more about a very powerful world leader."
The "I Have Come to You Again" Exhibit will run from March 15, 2013 to May 31, 2013 at the Catholic Diocese Center at 4620 4th St, Lubbock, TX 79416.
