Monterey went into hostile territory, visiting Cooper, and came out with a 10-2 win.
The Plainsmen were sparked by a 4-run burst in the top of the second inning. It all started when a suicide squeeze bunt with the bases loaded produced two runs.
From there, Monterey never looked back to secure the lopsided victory.
