Accident investigators tell our crews a Ford Mustang was traveling north bound on the interstate when the driver swerved to miss debris that was on the road.

That's when the driver lost control and hit the guard rail.

The driver, Christopher Garcia was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the car, he was transported to UMC with serious, life-threatening injuries and  was later pronounced dead.

There were no other cars involved in the accident.
