Lubbock Police arrested 22 year old Travis Kyle Tickle on two counts of intoxication assault from an accident early Tuesday morning.

The accident occurred at Avenue Q and Glenna Goodacre on Tuesday at around 1 a.m.

Police say Tickle was intoxicated at the time of the accident.

According to police, one car was headed south on Avenue Q when Tickle's car ignored a stop sign and hit the first car going about 80 MPH.

Tickle's car kept going though an intersection and hit more cars parked in a parking lot.

The car then landed on its side, one was ejected, and Tickle was trapped and had to be taken out using the Jaws of Life.

LPD also says additional charges could follow.
