Texas Tech hosts No. 20 Arizona State on Tuesday, March 19, at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park. Tech is coming off a series win at Texas - its first over the Longhorns since 2002 and its first in Austin since 2001 - while Arizona State makes its first trip to Lubbock since 2006. Last season Tech went into Tempe and knocked off No. 10 ASU, 8-4. Both teams come in hot as Tech has won four if its last five and seven of its last nine games and the Sun Devils have won seven of its last 10 games and have a 2-1 record on the road this season. In addition, Texas Tech football head coach Kliff Kingsbury will be in attendance to throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game. The game will broadcast nationally on FOX College Sports with Robert Giovannetti (play-by-play) and Mike Gustafson (analyst) calling all the action.
