Lubbock fire crews were busy overnight, battling a downtown garage fire.
A car caught on fire around 2:20 Thursday morning in the garage below the Studio 14 Lofts, also known as the City Street Lofts.
The building is located near 14th and Texas Avenue.

Residents who live above the garage to evacuate because of heavy smoke. Two people had to be carried out by fire crews and one was sent to the hospital and treated for smoke inhalation.
Crews had the fire extinguished by 2:50.
No one was seriously injured but there is significant smoke damage to the building.
The Lubbock Fire Department is still investigating what caused the fire.
