The Dow reached another record low today...even after the bailout plan has been approved.  Now a Lubbock High teacher is doing her best to explain it to the investors of our future.

Kay Moore used to be a stock broker, and now has taught Economics at Lubbock High School for 10 years.  She says when her kids started class in August, they decided to track the Dow and crude oil prices, never knowing this would be such a volitile example to teach the kids.

"This is the economy they're inheriting and that they're going to fit into and they would like to learn to be responsible and make the right decisions."

Texas teachers' retirement funds are all invested in the Texas Retirement System and financial advisors say the outlook is unclear but they are typically a safer investment.
