With a rocky couple of days on Wall Street, many are worried about retirement money and if their savings will remain intact. Today we spoke to financial planner Mark Bass about what to do with retirement funds, as the Dow plummets day after day. For many, there's talk of pulling their money out of the stock market, but Bass says it's probably best to stay put and ride out these troubled times. Of course, that all depends on if you can handle the fluctuating market.

"Generally it's a function of someone's temperament, how well they sleep at night," says Bass. "Because long term, stocks have been a well-performing asset-class, maybe the best-performing asset class, but you have to be able to take these kinds of downturns in stride, and that's really easier said than done."
