6-Man Basketball All Stars also on Display this Week

LUBBOCK, Texas: In addition to the 6-man football all stars, it's also all-star week for the studs of 6-man basketball as well. The all star basketball players began practice on Tuesday in preparation for their games this weekend. Unlike the football all star festivities, the basketball players are not separated into two divisions. Both the boys and girls all star games take place on Saturday at the Rip Girffin Center. The girls get underway at 1 p.m. with the boys game to follow. This all star week presents a uniques opportunity for many of these all stars because many of the players have spent their entire high school careers competing against each other and now they have to put aside previous allegiances and join forces.
