By: Allison Morrison
Updated: November 1, 2008

It's the first day of November and the first time ESPN College Gameday hosted their live show from Lubbock.

Devoted Tech fans flocked by the thousands to the Engineering Key, to catch a glimpse of those famous faces- ESPN's Herbstreit, Corso, Fowler and Howard.

Even a special face on the set this morning, Tech celebrity Coach Knight.

For one family, the Texas and Tech rivalry runs deep.

Cindy Griffin's a Tech grad and Tech Professor, her dad is a Texas grad and a Lubbock native.

"We just have fun and tease each other because his blood is red and black. He lived here forever. And I was like Dad your orange shirt! I was disappointed!" Cindy Griffin says.
