After two straight weeks of camping out in Raiderville, the kids are exhausted but definitely not hungry! As a final push of Red Raider spirit before tomorrow's game, Papa John's pizza headed out there with 1500 pizzas in tow.

The Tech cheerleaders and pom squad joined in to help pass them out. The Papa John's crew says the pizzas are a sort of "finale" for the longest tailgate ever.

Robert Welsh, Papa John's: "We've been in Lubbock for ten years now, we thought it'd be nice to give back to the community, and the Texas Tech students they really support us, we're right across the street, so what better way to come down here and feed all the students before the big game this weekend."

One student tells us he's had to pay for one meal in the entire two weeks he's been out there. And with all the free shirts, these kids have a whole new wardrobe too.
