A new state report grades the Lubbock State School a 20 out of a possible 100 points.
The report sites critical deficiencies that jeopardize patient and resident health.
One of the most serious issues addressed was that staff was unable to prevent residents from kicking, punching, biting and sexually abusing one another,
Officials form the Department of Aging and Disabilities tell KLBK the problems at the State School were quickly remedied after their inspection and that LSS is continuing to improve.
