After dominating OSU on Saturday, the Red Raiders are one step closer to a national championship, and that means tons of great press for Tech and Lubbock. Do a Google search on Lubbock and you'll find articles about the Red Raiders and The Hub City all the way from France to New York to LA! ABC was the most-watched station on Saturday Night with Tech's big win, and Director of Athletics Gerald Myers says it's incredible exposure for our city and the university.

Mayor Tom Martin says he couldn't be prouder of Tech's winning season: "It is very very exciting, who would've thought that we'd ever be knocking on the door of number one in the nation?"

Says Myers, "It's just great to see that kind of support, and yeah, it's great for Lubbock, it's great for west Texas."
