Susan Altrui with the Little Rock Zoo brought "Indigo" to the studio for Arkansas Today at noon.

Indigo is a blue-tongued skink, one of many scaly animals who live at the zoo's Reptile House.

There's lots to see and do at the zoo this summer. That includes story time every Friday at 10AM at the Carousel Dome.

The zoo is also getting ready for a very big event next month.

The grand opening of the Laura P. Nichols Cheetah Outpost is Saturday, July 7 at 10:30AM.
