A woman is found bloody and beaten on the porch of a Lubbock home and police are trying to piece together just what happened. Police were called out to 2102 Avenue O just after midnight by a neighbor who found the woman on his front porch.

The 45-year old female was covered in blood and nude from the waist down. They say she had been beaten and sexually assaulted in a nearby field but managed to make her way to the house for help. Her injuries were so severe, she could barely speak. Police say she suffered several blows to the head. A background check shows the woman has a history of prostitution.
