Suspect Captured

Police have a suspect in custody for the home invasion and beating of a retired couple and an attempted robbery later that same day.

JafficeHarris III is being held on burglary and several other felony charges.

Police say Harris broke into a Central Lubbock home and aussalted the residents while demanding money early Wednesday morning.

According to police reports, Harris then attacked a woman in the parking lot of the United Supermarket on 50th Street and Avenue Q.

Harris currently being held in the Lubbock COunty Jail on $150,000 bond.
