Police have taken in one person of interest and are still looking for another in connection with a fatal hit and run.  They're investigating the suspicious death of a woman found on East Lubbock streets Saturday morning.

Officers say they were called out to South east drive and the Loop around eleven Saturday morning after a driver passing under the overpass of the Loop noticed a dead body in the road.  Police have identified the woman to be 25-year-old Kristine Noelle Bufkin.  They've brought in Erasmo Rodriguez for questioning and are still looking for the primary person of interest, Karen Follis.  They're investigating the incident right now as a hit and run and a homicide.  Officials say they found her wrecked car outside the county nearly 20 miles away from where they found her body.  Of course, if you have any information, call the Crimeline at 741-1000.
