Slaton Highway Robberies

Businesses on the Slaton Highway become the victims of determined burglars. Over a dozen businesses up and down the Slaton Highway have been burglarized in the last 4 months, some more than once!
The criminals have stolen everything from radios to power tools to heavy equipment, and owners say they've each lost tens of thousands of dollars. This morning, they met with a Lubbock police officer to discuss safety in the area and how they can bring the criminals to justice.
Says business owner Cindy Clark, "If somebody robbed your house, or your business, you would want somebody to call, and say, 'Hey, I think I might know who's doing this.' Just do what's right."
