A West Texas rancher is fighting to save his land from harmful contamination. Almost two years ago, we introduced you to Robert Crowell who was fighting to keep his land clean from harmful oil contaminates. KAMC 28 caught up with him again, only to find out that Crowell has discovered a lot more contamination. He claims the Texas Railroad Commission is doing very little to enforce clean up, and Kinder Morgan - the company that owns the oil production equipment - is doing too little, too late. "They need to get on that refinery and find out how bad it is. And stop the pollution. Stop it at the river. That's for the sake of every citizen in the state of Texas. The citizens of Texas own that river. We're all affected by it," says Robert Crowell.
He's afraid contaminates go all the way to the edge of his property and are seeping into the Brazos River. Kinder Morgan says, their clean up efforts are in full compliance with the Texas Railroad Commission.
