Lockney Community Fights To 'Bring Back Tradition'

The fire at Lockney High School, obviously, was very devastating for members of such a small community.
Lockney's theme for this school year was 'Bringing Back Tradition' and it's an appropriate one, since it's that tradition holding much of the community together.
Lockney High School was built in 1929, but now that historic building is being called a total loss.
Students and teachers tell us it was a building full of treasures, most of which are irreplaceable.
"I had tears in my eyes and I just got with the other Seniors and we were just all around hugging each other, crying and telling each other it's going to be okay," LHS Senior Timothy Padilla says.
We're told a few things were salvaged from the fire, including class photos and a few textbooks.
