As millions flock to Washington, D.C. for the presidential inauguration, some hometown folks are packing their bags too. Four Waters Elementary students are making the trip to Washington. They say they feel pretty special for being chosen to go.

Willow Bend Elementary school teacher Alan Davis is also headed to DC for the big day, and he's created an interactive blog, where his students can catch up on what he's doing in our nation's capital. Says Davis, "I wanted to do everything I could to have them involved, and if I couldn't pack them up and take them with me, then the next best thing was to have them involved."
