Tech business students were at the Civic Center on Wednesday, hoping to land that first job, despite the struggling economy. About a hundred businesses set up shop in the Civic Center for a career expo.

Employers ranged from Target to Hershey's to Lockheed Martin. The representatives we talked with say students shouldn't be too discouraged about the job market because many companies are still looking for new recruits.

Students spent the day networking, and they say they're still optimistic about their future. Mary Turner is a senior business student, "I'm really open to whatever company, as long as it's something I can be passionate about, one that has the corporate ethics I can look to, and one I can be proud of."
