Fans gathered outside the TTU Athletic Offices on Tuesday morning to support coach Mike Leach. They rallied just hours from the 5:00 deadline Tech gave Leach to accept its latest contract.

Fans held signs and yelled that familiar Raider Power chant.Even players got in on the action, saying they too, want compromise. Fans say they want to keep the coach no matter what the cost. Coach Leach did make an appearance and made sure to thank the group for their constant support.

Says Tech freshman Chrissie Carrington, "If Mike Leach doesn't resign the contract, I think Tech football will obviously still be Tech football, but I don't think it will be the same." Tech alum Fred Howell says, "I feel very strongly that Tech has an opportunity that could disappear...and I don't want to see it happen."
