FDA Report on Peanut COrporation of America

According the FDA's report, the Peanut Corporation of America's plant in Plainview suffered numerous sanitary problems.
 
The plant is believed to be one of the sources of the current salmonella scare.

The report states that dead mice and rodent droppings were found all around the plant and that machinery had not been cleaned.

Several roof leaks were also found and there were even problems with equipment used to sanitize workers' hands.

The FDA would not make give any direct comment on their findings.
