It was a tough day for those in the Frenship School District. They returned to classes for the first time since Friday's tragic car crash that claimed the lives of 3 young students. 8-year old Fabian Sanchez attended Bennett Elementary, and both 10-year old Xavier Sanchez and 7-year old Isaac Gutierrez went to Willow Bend.

Counselors were on hand at both schools to talk to students about the accident. They allowed the kids to do activities like drawing their favorite memories and writing letters of sympathy to the family.

Says Assistant Principal Chera Bessire, "The first thing that you automatically think of is 'when was the last time I saw that kid? Or the smiles you got every morning and the hugs you got and just the look on his face that you'll always remember, so definitely, it's a tough time."
