It may be St. Patrick's Day, but some local residents are calling it St. Baldrick's Day, and they're shaving their heads to help fight kids' cancer. Over at Focal Pointe Fellowship, people have been braving the shave all day.

It's to raise money for childhood cancer research through the St. Baldrick's Foundation. They say they're shaving their heads in solidarity with the 160,000 kids diagnosed with cancer each year. Says organizer Jeff Carr, "I think everybody in their lives is going to be touched by someone with cancer, whether it's a child or an adult, you're going to be touched by that, and the opportunity to help is amazing."
