Crash Stops Traffic on North Loop

Just before 7 p.m. a mini-van transporting four people collided with a green SUV sending the van rolling into oncoming traffic on the North Loop.
Two people in the van were ejected form the vehicle while the driver and an infant had to be pulled out after rescue teams used the jaws of life.
The infant received minor injuries and one of the victims that were ejected is in critical condition at UMC. The remaining victims are in satisfactory condition.
The driver of the SUV fled the scene and was later found by Lubbock PD and is currently in custody.
