The Easter Bunny soared to new heights Friday afternoon, dropping 50,000 eggs for Hub City kids to scramble after. A helicopter is going flew over Lowery Field just before 6 p.m., dropping the plastic eggs.

This is the second year Experience Life Church has hosted this event. Last year, you may remember, they dropped 5,000, and it wasn't nearly enough. So they've increased ten fold and are hoping 50,000 will do it. To make it fair, the field is divided by age group so that every kid had a fair chance at grabbing the goodies. The egg drop is for kids 10 and under, but they had some fun for everyone with door prizes, inflatable rides, and games.
