Tuberculosis was found in several cattle at a West Texas dairy farm.
The Texas Animal Health Commission has not specified which dairy.
The herd is believed to be quarantined at this time and no other outbreaks have been reported.
Health officials said there is no chance of tainted products entering circulation.
Texas has been cattle TB free since 2006.
