An abduction Monday night by two armed men has Lubbock police on a manhunt.
Police were called to the Hunter's Way apartments near 56th and Chicago just before 11:00 p.m. Monday night.
Two men with a gun forced their way into 26-year-old Jose Lucio's apartment.
Lucio says the men tied him up, then kidnapped his girlfriend, 32-year-old Wendy Martinez.
The men then stole Martinez's white Hummer and forced her to withdrawl money from a local bank, before dumping her alongside North FM 1729 in Lubbock County.
Martinez was helped by folks in a nearby home and police found the Hummber close by, but the two men were long gone.
"We're currently looking for any witnesses that may have seen that vehicle, since the suspect's apparently drove the victim around in the vehicle for some time before dropping her off in the county," Lt. Neal Barron with the Lubbock Police Department says.
Thankfully, neither Martinez or Lucio was seriously hurt.
Police say the suspects are both black men, more than 200 pounds each.
Both men wore red bandanas over their faces.
