Lubbock Police are looking for answers after a second East Lubbock shooting in consecutive nights.
Investigators say they're not ruling out the possibility the two could be related.
Police say it was just after midnight Friday morning that a man was shot to death in his home on East Rice.
23-year-old Daniel VanKeith Wilbon was found by his roommate, lying on the floor and bleeding.
His roommate called for help and when police arrived, they discovered Wilbon had been shot to death.
He was prounounced dead on the scene.
Police tell us an autopsy is scheduled for Friday afternoon.
"There's not a lot of information that we have right now to put out, it's still very early in the investigation. Detectives are canvassing the neighborhood on East Rice, as well as the streets that adjoin it," Capt. Greg Stevens with Lubbock Police says.
So far, Police don't have a suspect or a motive in either homicide case.
