Dozens gathered at Irons Middle School to discuss what projects should be included in the possible 65 million dollar November Bond Election. Monday's meeting was the second of three the Citizen Advisory Committee is holding to get input on bond project ideas. About forty people showed up to voice their opinions. A few mentioned the need to revamp 34th Street, but the majority of people there talked about the need for new youth soccer fields.
If you have an idea for a bond project, you'll get one more chance to pitch it. The third and final brainstorming meeting is this Thursday at the Mackenzie Middle School Auditorium at 7:00 p.m. The CAC will report it's recommendations for bond projects to the council no later than June 30th.
