The family of Aldo Cervantes - the man killed on 22nd Street - are inviting all loved ones to pray and mourn with them this weekend. The Cervantes family says Aldo was always smiling and helping others, especially his young nieces and nephews. Family and friends will pray together Thursday at 7 p.m. at the home of Cervantes' mother, in the 2000 block of 63rd Street, and his funeral will be at St. Joseph's Saturday morning at ten.

"He was a truly, truly genuine person. He was kind and always smiling. When he was a little boy they called him Smiley, so just a good all-the-way-around person," says sister Perla Cervantes.

The family now just wants their questions about Aldo's death answered, and they're asking anyone with any information on his murder to call Crimeline at 741-1000.
