Murder suspect Tyrone Robinson is dead after officials say he hung himself inside his jail cell Saturday afternoon.

He was rushed to the hospital and was put on life support throughout Saturday night.   Officials released a statement Sunday that he was pronounced dead around 8:30 AM.

The 31-year old was initially a person of interest in Lubbock's recent string of shootings.  He turned himself into authorities Thursday morning, and late Friday, Lubbock Police officially charged him with the murder of 36-year-old Angela Holt.  Now, police still believe the three murders are related and Captain Stevens with LPD says they expect more arrests to come for the two other murders from last week.
