The City of Lubbock had an animal hearing on a bizarre creature this morning .

Animal Services caught Booger the Coati in the neighborhood around 77th and W a little more than a week ago.

The exotic animal is native to Mexico and South America, but can be bought as a pet.

Animal services says Booger got loose and chased a woman around the neighborhood, and once he was captured, he put up a fight and even bit an Animal Services worker.

Booger's owners have been ordered to keep him in a secure area of their home and to have him neutered.
