Five people are behind bars Monday night, after police say they were involved in robbing and assaulting a Texas Tech student back in March.
Police say three men entered a home on the 200 block of Homestead through an unlocked door.
According to court documents, the three men robbed the home and two of them sexually assaulted a Texas Tech student who lived there.
A break in the case came Thursday, when police re-interviewed involved parties.
Investigators determined five people were involved in the home invasion.
The suspects are 21-year-old Laquintin Johnson, 26-year-old Danny Wilson, 20-year-old Kevin Price, 28-year-old Gary Wilson, and 20-year-old Artesia Thomas.
All five face felony charges of burglary with intent.
"I know they have implicated themselves in the crime. I don't know to what extent or why they chose this particular neighborhood or this house or this victim, but that remains to be seen," Lt. Neal Barron with Lubbock Police says.
Police won't confirm if the victim knew the suspects who invaded her home, but did say additional charges could be filed for these suspects.
