Lady Raiders Lose Rain Shortened Game

PHOENIX, AZ - Texas Tech and Arizona State played in the second ever outdoor women`s college basketball game but the first to be called because of rain. The game was called with 4:18 to play at Chase Field, home of baseball`s Arizona Diamondbacks. The game was stopped and a tarp was put down on the court but in the interest of safety the game was called with the Sun Devils leading 61-45. The Lady Raiders fall to 8-4 with the loss. Texas Tech hosts Furman Thursday at 7 p.m.
