Despite confirmation that the City of Lubbock's lawsuit with insurance negotiator AAG would be settled today at council, no vote was taken on the suit.

The council was only briefed on the status of the suit.

Councilwoman Linda DeLeon said no vote was taken due to the media attention and the public outcry.

AAG is accused of taking $6 million of tax money that it wrongfully received from the Cit y of Lubbock.

This issue is also the center of the FBI's investigation at City Hall.
