One person was injured and another person killed when two motorcycles collided at the 9400 block of 19th Street. Police believe 33-year old Ruben Garza and 36-year old Clinton Lamb were racing down 19th Street when Garza failed to yield the right of way and crashed into Lamb. Garza was taken to UMC by Aerocare and is now in critical condition. Lamb was taken by ambulance to UMC and was pronounced dead upon arrival. Police are still investigating the accident and are unsure if alcohol was involved. This is the third fatal motorcycle accident in the city and the eighth motor fatality of the year.
