Harris Sentenced To 25 Years In Prison

Jaffice Lee Harris III plead guilty to burglary with the intent to committ aggravated assault. After more than two hours of deliberation, a jury sentenced Harris to 25 years in prison. In November of 2008, Jaffice Harris confessed to breaking into the home of Ken and Doris Forson and assaulting Mr. Forson with his own cane. He also committed a string of robberies within the days leading up to and after the assault. Harris plead guilty to those crimes and was sentenced after the defense presented character witnesses to prove Harris was a different person before he started using drugs and committing these crimes.
