The search is on for the person who drove through a home in south Lubbock and took off.

It happened just after 2:30 Sunday morning.

Beena Thomas says she and her husband were asleep when they heard a loud crash that shook the whole house.

She says they went to the back room where their 8-month-old son was sleeping and saw an SUV reversing out of their home.

Luckily, the truck missed the baby's crib, but only by about four feet.

"I said call 9-1-1, he's leaving and I just saw the car leaving. This little boy was involved. This person needs to know what damage (he did), what could of happen, what if it happens again," Thomas says.

Police have no suspects, but they do believe the vehicle was a tan or brown Chevy Suburban.

If you have any information, you're asked to call CrimeLine at 741-1000.
