TTU Student Protest Iran Election

Violent post-election protests in Iran continue and American students across the country have joined the cause, including right here at Texas Tech.
American students across the country are protesting to show their support for the Irani opposition and students, including many Iranian-American's, convened at the Student Union Building on campus to inform others of their purpose.
Although many of them have different political views, they are universally against incumbent President Ahmadinejad.
"We are not supporting him, Ahmadinejad is not my President and we want the world to know we are sharing the same values. Iranians want freedom and democracy like everyone else in the world," TTU student Arezoo Isalmi says.
Many students say they're simply representing democracy and the right to a free election.
