Fourth of July is just around the corner and officials want to make sure you stay safe. They say it's important to follow safety instructions when lighting fireworks. First, when children are using them, supervision is a must. Always light one at a time and never try to relight a firecracker if it doesn't work. Also remember to never use an open flame, but instead a controlled light. Never throw or point fireworks at another person and if you are confused about how to use a firecracker, just check the directions
