"Stop the Violence."  That's the message a Lubbock Councilman drove home Tuesday night at a town hall meeting.

Councilman Floyd Price of District 2 hosted the meeting at the Patterson Library Branch.  He says the recent dead body of a young man found in a Lubbock field sparked the impromptu meeting.  Two Lubbock Judges, Police Chief Dale Holton, local pastors, and East Lubbock parents all gathered and all agreed....Lubbock's youth is head down a wrong direction.

"It's not going to happen overnight, it's going to take time.  Because this thing that we have with our young people nationwide just didn't happen in a day, in a week."
